School Holidays Public Holidays
In the US, there are many different school districts and each sets its own holiday schedule. As such, there are no set school holiday dates such as we have in Australia. The main school holiday periods are:

Winter
Mid-December to Mid-January

Spring Break
2 weeks in either March or April (March is most popular)
