International Media FAM Info
Assistance with Media Trips
Are you an Australian or New Zealand journalist with an assignment in Las Vegas? Would you like some assistance in organising your trip?
After qualifying your visit, we will forward the information you provided to Las Vegas hotels and attractions to notify them of your upcoming trip and give them the opportunity to make offers of accommodation, tickets etc. Any offers will then be forwarded back to the journalist.
The LVCVA will do as much as it can to help you plan your trip, however you are responsible for arranging your own appointments, itinerary and group transportation when on assignment.
There is extremely high demand for media rooms in Las Vegas so we suggest 60 days advance notice on all room requests.
We also advise that you avoid Friday and Saturday nights when planning your trip as it is difficult to attain media rates on weekends due to the high room occupancy in Las Vegas.
Filming in Las Vegas
To film anywhere in or around Las Vegas requires one or more permits. Film permits must be applied for a minimum of 4 days prior to filming and require various insurances. Some locations charge a permit fee.
Film permits are the responsibility of the broadcaster, the LVCVA is unable to complete film permit applications on behalf of a production.
Clark County Film Permit Center
Anyone filming on the Las Vegas Strip must apply for a permit from the Clark County Film Permit Center. Visit the website for more information and film permit applications.
City of Las Vegas
Anyone filming in the downtown area of Las Vegas (including Fremont Street Experience) needs a film permit from the City of Las Vegas. Visit the website for more information and film permit applications.
Fremont Street Experience
Filming at the Fremont Street Experience requires its own film permit. Visit the website for more information and location agreements.
Anyone filming at Fremont Street Experience also requires a film permit from the City of Las Vegas.
